Jo's work is connected to the passing of time and the beauty and melancholy surrounding that notion.  The zen moments - the exquisiteness of the detail, the beauty of form, the light. Working frequently with the medium of flora - as flowers represent both the beauty and fragility of this life - Jo captures the beauty of a moment, just as it ceases to be.

The faded petals of a bloom that is just past it's best are thought provoking and achingly romantic. ​ We are thrilled to be exhibiting an exclusive series of new works by Jo Thorne in our 2019 collection.

Jo studied  Editorial Photography at Brighton University and has been working commercially as a photographer since graduating.
